NJ Hate Watch: NJ Proud Boy and Hate Crime Attacker Identified as Richie Negron

In August 2025, a man caused an uproar at a Sandy Hook, NJ beach when he harassed and tried to attack a Trans woman (a separate incident from the other transphobic attack at Sandy Hook in August). While beach-goers quickly helped the woman out and stopped the attack, the man who did it screamed at everyone while holding a far-right flag, that he was a Proud Boy and would not be messed with.

This photo was taken directly after the attack during his outburst.

This man has now been positively identified as NJ Proud Boy and good friend of Terry Beck, Richie Negron. Negron, who is in his late 60’s, is from the Bridgewater, NJ area and is retired. Negron has been both involved with a branch of the NJ Proud Boys and friends with Terry Beck for several years.

Richie Negron and Terry Beck are close friends, attending far-right rallies and protests together in addition to celebrating their birthdays alongside each other.

It has been confirmed that Negron is a part of the Central Jersey Proud Boys chapter, referenced in this picture.

Negron has been a member of the Central New Jersey Proud Boys chapter for the last few years, which refers to itself at the “CJPB chapter”. The CJPB chapter, while not affiliated with the official Proud Boy’s organization, is an independent chapter that works with fringe far-right and more mainstream right-wing groups and individuals like Terry Beck, Ron Lazar, NJ MAGA groups, biker clubs, and other independent Proud Boys chapters like the Ocean County Great Whites, and the Jersey Line Proud Boys. The New Jersey Proud Boys, who charge themselves “as the only official Proud Boy chapter in the state of New Jersey” have completely disowned the CJPB, Jersey Line Proud Boys, Ocean County Great Whites, and South Jersey Proud Boy chapters as “snitches, f*gs, and nazis”.

Other than their public beef with the New Jersey Proud Boys chapter, CJPB and their members have faced public investigation/heat from the federal and state government, particularly over their involvement with the January 6th “insurrection”. Reportedly, Negron was not present for the storming of the capitol on January 6 with the CJPB.

Negron’s FaceBook profile, which officially links him to other Proud Boys, Terri Beck, Ron Lazar, and right wing fringe conspiracy theorists.

Negron, who has poor internet security practices, is open about his far right politics, his connections to Terry Beck, Ron Lazar, and other Proud Boys.

Two of Negron’s online rants, one of which mentions his collaboration with Terry Beck. Similarly to Beck, Negron oddly signs all his FaceBook posts with his full name at the end.

Negron is a regular attendee of the far-right protest scene in NJ and attended the counter-protest at the Cherry Hill, NJ Tesla dealership over the Summer of 2025, being quoted in an article about it.

Negron’s energy is chaotic and can be characterized as being informed by MAGA and far-right politics, conspiracy theories, along with general ignorance. Unsurprisingly, Negron spends his free time decorating his car with homemade MAGA signs and holding one-person protests on the side of street corners in Central NJ. He documents all of this publicly on FaceBook.

Outside of the hate crime he committed in August, Negron came to the attention of area antifascists because he and others used FaceBook to publicly organize one of the counter protests to the October 2025 No Kings Day, in conjunction with Terry Beck. Seemingly with no concern for their own security Terry Beck, Negron, and others publicly planned this event and tagged each other in multiple pre-event posts.

On October 18, 2025 Terry Beck, Richie Negron and his CJBP chapter buddies, and others executed their plan and held their counter protest to the No Kings Day events in Franklin, NJ. As seen by the following photos, the counter protest was sparsely attended. Negron and other CJBP chapter members were spotted on site.
