NJ Hate Watch: Neo-Nazi Tyler Wiesing of Point Pleasant, NJ

Earlier this week on February 6, 2023, Atomwaffen Division (AWD) founder Brandon Russell and girlfriend Sarah Beth Clendaniel were arrested for a plot to blow up a Baltimore Maryland electrical substation. Russell and Clendaniel’s recent arrests have put renewed attention on the neo-nazi group, their activities in the region, and former members, namely Tyler R. Wiesing.

Tyler Wiesing, or as he is also known as Apollo/Eulogy, was once the right hand man of Russell and a devoted AWD member, visiting him on more than one occasion in prison when he was incarcerated for five years on an explosives possession conviction starting in 2017. While Russell was in prison the first time, Wiesing acted as a gopher, shuffling messages between Russell and different AWD cells. During 2017 and 2018, Wiesing led the AWD NJ cell, leading several actions in the region in an effort to recruit new members and propagandize the group. In one instance the NJ AWD cell collaborated with The Base and did survival training in the larger NJ region, advertising their presence on their now deleted Telegram channel.

During a later period of Russell’s first stint in prison, however, their relationship soured and Wiesing was disavowed from AWD in 2018/2019. Despite being banished from AWD, Wiesing was and still is a dedicated neo-nazi, and still actively involved in the NJ fascist circles.

While Wiesing seems to have more anonymity at the moment with his current membership in specific fascist crews in the region under wraps, he is still very active in different gaming circles, namely Yu-Gi-Oh! table top card game circles across the state, that are unaware of his neo-nazi status. Unfortunately, Wiesing’s anonymity also puts people that he may share space with, both casually and through formal competitions, at risk for violence. Currently, Wiesing is known to frequent Nova Games in Brick NJ, hanging out casually to play the card game with others and competing in competitions in 2021. Additionally, Wiesing also travels around the state to formally compete in official Yu-Gi-Oh! card game competitions, most recently making it to the sixth round of the North American tour which was hosted in July 2022 in Edison, NJ. Wiesing is also active in online Yu-Gi-Oh! forums.

Wiesing has been into the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game for almost a decade and regularly participates in competitions in the state.
Wiesing lives here at 808 Clark Street in Point Pleasant Boro NJ, 080742.

Tyler R. Wiesing is 29 years old and currently lives at 808 Clark Street in Point Pleasant NJ, 08742. He is employed as a car mechanic in the region. While he primarily spends his time in Ocean County, he is known to travel throughout New Jersey and surrounding states like New York to play table top card games, namely Yu-Gi-Oh!

As pictured here, he has some adaptability with how he presents himself. Regardless of his overall look, he can usually be seen spotting a light brown beard with black hair.
