In September 2023, South Jersey neo-nazi Richard Rygaard was spotted in Asheville, North Carolina. Concerned community members spotted Rygaard out and about in the community and recognized him as the former drummer and collaborator of the neo-nazi metal band Bound for Glory (BFG).
Rygaard was confronted and it was discovered that he was temporarily staying in a neighboring town. Rygaard tried to play dumb and deny that he was a nazi but was quickly shut down and forced to leave town.
Community members were able to grab pictures of his car prior to him being booted from Asheville.
It was also discovered that Rygaard has a Cash App account, further proving his enduring nazi ties.
