Just a few days ago photos of an Israeli Occupation Force (IOF) sniper went viral on social media. Quds News Network’s pictures of the golani patrol sniper garnered millions of views in part because he was identified as an American, due to one of his uniform patches, participating alongside other occupation force members.
The sniper in question has now been positively identified as long-time Teaneck, NJ resident Arik Nagel. Nagel has had a long career in the IOF and is currently a teacher at a shiva in Paramus, NJ. Notably, Teaneck, where Nagel resides has become a battle ground against zionists looking to further entrench their settler colonial roots in the so-called United States and occupied Palestine.
Nagel has been extensively covered by mainstream media for pro-Israel propaganda, including his return from a month of “duty” in November 2023, his send off back to occupied Palestine, and a semi-anonymous interview with NJ IOF soldiers. The golani patrol, of which Nagel is a part of, is a well known attachment of the larger “elite” golani brigade, which has a track record of committing horrific atrocities such as mass instances of sexual assault, torture, and murder. Additionally IOF snipers, including those within the golani brigade and patrol, have been a part of a larger terrifying trend of IOF snipers participating in war crimes against Palestinians. This includes the cold blooded murder of men, women, and children just trying to survive.
The following information is being released as Nagel poses a serious risk to humanity and has been able to comfortably operate in Teaneck and the wider NJ area for far too long. Arik Nagel is 35 years old and is married with three children. Reportedly, he lives at the Teaneck Square apartments, where he resides with his family. While he is currently a teacher in Paramus, NJ he has been known to have prior employers and conduct business in Manhattan.
Arik Nagel has been able to sell his grift to media outlets and the wider public who believe he is a humble soldier. Nagel must be exposed for what he really is- a zionist war criminal who is helping to commit genocide. At the time of publishing it is unclear what specific war crimes Nagel is responsible for, but given the many eye witness accounts and official reports about the conduct of IOF soldiers in Gaza, it is clear he holds a level of responsibility and culpability that cannot be ignored.
Recently there have been unverified reports making the rounds on social media that Nagel was killed by a Palestinian resistance sniper in Khan Yunis. At the time of publishing it has not been confirmed or verified if Nagel is alive or dead.
